Feeding advice Energique
Small dogs need relatively more food than large ones. Where a large adult dog would eat 20 grams per one kg of body weight, a small dog would eat as much as 50 gram per one kg of body weight. Therefore, there is no need to absolutely stick to food advice, because it is an average.
Feed with your eyes
No one dog is “average”, so use a measure that looks right for the animal. No two dogs have a similar need for food. Keep an eye on the dog’s back and ribs. When its body widens from the top and the ribs can no longer be felt, the dog has become too fat. Apart from some greyhound breeds, the ribs may not be visible. However, you must be able to feel them.
Frozen foods, like Energique, don't need preservatives. Energique is absorbed for almost 90%, resulting in only a small amount of excrement. All ingredients have been approved for human consumption.
